Terms of service

The rules for using Wallogo, in plain words.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Who we are

Wallogo.com ("Wallogo", "we", "us") turns a company logo into a photoreal office backdrop for video calls. We are based at Bjørnøystraen 2, 4085 Hundvåg, Norway.

By using wallogo.com you agree to these terms. If you use Wallogo for a company, you confirm that you may accept them on its behalf.

No account needed

You don't sign up or sign in. Each backdrop gets its own private link, and that link is how you come back to it, from the page address, the "ready" email or your receipt. Anyone who has the link can see the backdrop, make changes to it and download the files that have been paid for, so share it only with people you trust. Lost your link? Ask for it again on My backdrops.

Free tries

You get 5 free tries a day. Making a backdrop or changing one uses one try. A try that fails doesn't count. We count tries per browser over the last 24 hours, and also per internet connection to stop abuse.

A free try gives you a watermarked preview and a small image (500 pixels wide) you can download. Don't try to get around the daily limit, for example by automating requests.

Buying a backdrop

  • You pay once per backdrop. The price is shown before you pay (currently $4.99).
  • Payment is handled by Stripe Checkout. We never see your card details.
  • Buying unlocks the full HD download (1920×1080 JPG, no watermark) of that backdrop and of every version made from it, including later changes.
  • There is no subscription and nothing renews. You get a receipt by email with the link to your backdrop.

What you may do with your backdrop

Once you've bought a backdrop, you may use it as a background for your own and your company's video calls, meetings, webinars and recordings, including for commercial purposes. You may share it with people in your company so they can use it too.

You may not sell the backdrop itself or offer it as a stock image or template. We don't claim ownership of your logo or your brand.

What you upload

When you enter a website or upload a logo or photos, you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them, and that people shown in your photos are happy to be in the backdrop. Don't upload anything unlawful or hateful, or use someone else's brand to mislead.

You keep all rights to what you upload. You allow us to use it to make, store and deliver your backdrop, which includes sending it to our image-generation provider. See the privacy policy for details.

Images made by AI

Backdrops are made by an AI image model (Google Gemini). Every result is different, and the model can make mistakes, for example in the shape of a logo or in small text. Look at the preview before you buy, and check the backdrop before you use it in an important call.

How long we keep backdrops

Backdrops nobody has bought are deleted after 90 days, together with the logo and files. Backdrops you've bought are kept, so your link keeps working. Save a copy of your download anyway.

Our gallery and example logos

We may show backdrops made on Wallogo in our gallery and on our pages as examples. If you'd like one of yours taken down, email us and we will remove it.

The company logos, names and trademarks in our examples belong to their owners. We show them only to demonstrate what Wallogo makes. It doesn't mean those companies endorse or work with us.

Refunds

If something is wrong with your download, email us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you. See the refund policy.

Fair use of the service

  • Don't overload, scrape or attack the service, or try to reach other people's backdrops.
  • Don't copy or reverse engineer the software behind Wallogo.
  • We may stop requests that break these terms.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Wallogo running and the backdrops looking good, but we provide the service as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or that a result fits your purpose.

As far as the law allows, our liability for a backdrop is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. A purchase you've already made keeps the terms that applied when you paid.

Law and disputes

Norwegian law applies to these terms. If you're a consumer in the EEA, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country. If you have a problem, email us first and we'll try to sort it out.
